I am a scientist by education but love looking at abstract ideas and future possibilities. In Myers-Briggs personality terms, I am an INTJ (introvert, Intuition, thinking, judging) which explains a lot!
I began quilling in 2017 as a way to manage stress. I am fascinated by paper. It can be seen as fragile yet be surprisingly strong. It is available in a multitude of colors, thickness, and materials. It can folded to form wonderful whimsical designs.
I love to create art that can make you smile such as my unicorns and Christmas gnomes. Other times I like to cause a sense of wonder such as my Nature of Thought project.
I primarily sell my art through local Art Festivals and Craft Shows. I do take commissions and would be honored to create a unique piece of art just for you. Please see my event page to see where I will be exhibiting next and how to commission a unique piece of art.
Like all people, I have had my share of up and downs. Just when I think something couldn't get any worse, someone "saves" me. I firmly believe that each of us are watched over by Angels. They are all around us....... Below are just two examples of angels at work in my life. How are they at work in yours?
- My tire blew out in the middle of nowhere, hours from home, during a business trip. I was able to pull my car to the side. Within a few minutes, a gentleman pulled up and changed my tire. No name, wouldn't accept any gratuity for his help, and was the most pleasant individual. I do not know what I would have done if he had not helped me.
- Things at work were challenging and stressful. I was ready to call it quits. An individual I had only spoken to a couple of times reached out to me and gave me their support and encouragement. A true earth angel bringing me grace from an unexpected source.
